▪ The Jamaica Volunteers is a programme of the
Jamaica Volunteer Foundation (JVF), a non-profit agency registered in Jamaica.
▪
STAFF: Its director is Mr. Peter
Stewart, a Jamaican citizen, who has been working for over fifteen years with
Volunteer groups visiting Jamaica from the United States and Canada.
Mr. Stewart has worked at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, at St. George's College, a
Jesuit high school in Kingston, and has served as a Board member of Jamaica
Self-Help.
Other
Jamaicans assist on staff as needed as facilitators, as guides in the
neighbourhoods, as speakers, and as companions in service.
